bronx was a stray before we got him. we always make fun of some quirks he has and say they are things he learned on the streets. whenever he tries to dig in the trash, he won't touch the outside. he just balances on his legs and then reaches his head in. caption: bronx brushing up on his street skills.

All is Well

Last night, we went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert at the BYU-I center. It was amazing, as we expected.

The last time I went to a MOTAB concert was the same day that I found out a friend of mine had died.

We had debated as to whether to go or not, but then ended up going, and we were all glad we did.

There are many hymns that really struck me and comforted me on that day, but the one that always sticks with me is Come, Come Ye Saints.

The last verse says, "And should we die, before our journey's through, happy day! All is well!"

This was exactly what I needed to hear that day. It caused a lot of tears, but with that came a lot of understanding.

Every time I hear this song, it makes me think of Clayton and I can never sing the last verse. Last night, I had a flood of emotions come back as I heard that song sung again by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. This song is beautiful, not only because of the music, but because of the lyrics as well.

Although we miss Clayton and those others who have passed on, all is well.
